Each watch undergoes intensive in-house testing to ascertain its water resistance and airtightness under over and under pressure conditions. During a prior homologation procedure, a number of test watches were examined to determine their shock resistance, resistance to salt water corrosion and the resilience of individual functional elements, among other aspects. It goes without saying that the promise of quality integral to the Calibre 36 is also kept by the SeaQ Panorama Date. This means not only that the timepieces meet the stringent DIN and ISO standards for diver’s watches; they must also submit to and successfully complete a demanding 24-day test, the excellence test.
