Omega Seamaster Railmaster 38mm 235.12.38.20.13.001
All aboard the next-generation Railmaster
The original Omega Railmaster was launched in 1957 as a purpose-built tool watch that balanced precision and shock & magnetic resistance for professionals working on the railways. For this modern update, Omega has retained that same timeless look and capability while updating the design with a new dial aesthetic and a modern standard of METAS-certified precision.
The symmetrical 38 mm case is brushed and polished, and is presented on a golden brown Novonappa leather strap. In keeping with the original Railmaster’s easy-to-read display, the dial of this model is beige with a black gradient, and features large numerals and hour markers in vintage Super-LumiNova. There is also a Small Seconds display placed at 6 o’clock, which includes a beige varnished hand.
This watch continues the Railmaster’s legacy of anti-magnetism, courtesy of the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8804, unique for its small seconds display at 6:00. The movement is resistant to magnetism up to 15,000 gauss, and can be viewed through the transparent sapphire crystal on the caseback.
