The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the world’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six moon landings, the legendary chronograph is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.
First introduced in a bi-color combination in 1983, the Moonwatch has very rarely revisited this aesthetic in the many years since. Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster style worn on the moon, it includes an asymmetrical case with a black ceramic bezel ring, with its tachymeter scale and famous “dot over ninety” in OMEGA Ceragold. The sun-brushed silvery “step” dial is presented with applied OMEGA logo and indexes, 18K Senda Gold hands, and galvanic 18K Sedna Gold subdials including a small seconds recorder, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder.
This 42 mm bi-color model in stainless steel and 18K Sedna Gold features sapphire crystal glass on the front as well as on the caseback. The watch is worn on a polished-brushed bracelet with OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system, and is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861.
