SpaceOne Jumping Hour Stainless Steel
The view from outer space
Inspired by outer space and dreamed up by French designer Olivier Gamiette here on earth, the deconstructed time display and unique design language of this SpaceOne watch hearkens from the height of the original space race of the 60s.
The 'spaceship' of this non-traditional Jumping Hour watch is cast in a stainless steel hull, which has been outfitted with a timekeeping complication developed and assembled in France by Theo Auffret. It is characterized by three individual overlapping discs (running seconds, hours, and minutes) which display the time from left to right through the ship's sapphire 'cockpit' glass. SpaceOne utilizes the tried-and-true Soprod P024 automatic movement as its base to power this unique time display.
